God of the living

What a beautiful reminder: our God is the God of the living. God is not distant or silent, but active and present—right here, right now. Jesus assures that our relationship with God doesn’t end with death. By grace, we are fully alive in God, both now and forever.
This matters deeply. It means that our connection to God is never broken—not by hardship, not by failure, not even by death. Through Christ, God has given us new life, and is with us today, offering grace, strength and purpose. And God promises that, just as Christ was raised, we too will rise.
God is the One who gives life and never lets it end. We are already living in God’s presence, and we have the sure hope of eternal life to come. In a world where loss and fear often speak loudly, this truth whispers peace: nothing can separate us from the God who loves us and calls us God’s own.

God of the living, thank you for the gift of life through Jesus. Strengthen our hearts with the hope of eternal life. Help us walk each day in the light of your presence and love. Amen.
