Tuesday October 15th, 2019 2 Timothy 2:1-7
Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in all things. (verse 7)
But when Jesus declared that he was the Bread of Life, he was telling his disciples that a life in him was sustaining for their very existence. Not for filling up hungry stomachs, but the filling of their hunger for God’s care and love. Jesus is the Bread that spiritually satisfies. It was so in Jesus’ time and it is so now.
Lord Jesus, I pray for the wisdom to know when to listen, when to trust and when to act. Amen. — DR
