Thursday September 12th, 2019 Psalm 14
They have all gone astray, they are all alike perverse; there is no one who does good, no, not one. (verse 3)
Jeremiah presents us with this image of a powerful wind. It’s not wind that will winnow or cleanse by steadily blowing away chaff and dust and dirt, but a wind that destroys nearly everything in its path.
Holy One, bring justice and peace to this hurting world. Forgive me for the times when I fall short. Amen. — LS
