We need to know God – Eternity for Today

Wednesday July 3rd, 2019 Galatians 4:8-20

Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to beings that by nature are not gods. (verse 8)

This is God’s promise to God’s people. It is vital that we are obedient to God’s word. God came more than once to the people of the Old Testament to remind them that they would be forgiven and remade into God’s people if they would but be obedient. God goes on to tell them that if they faithfully follow God’s way, their land will be healed from the drought and lean growing seasons, and good harvests will come.

Gracious and loving God, we thank you for being there for everyone and for helping those who have fallen away from you to return to the fold. Help their families to continue to love them and help them to see you as their Saviour. Amen. — EEMS
