In the face of evil, Jesus did not stop blowing the whistle. We must follow his example and treat all people with respect, honesty and kindness. We can report child abuse, refuse to accept racism, volunteer at the soup kitchen, and when called, become involved in social justice protests. Even having a smile and a conversation with a vulnerable person can have lasting effects. These actions expose the darkness and despair in our community and bring forth light.
Help me to dance like no one is watching, and when someone is watching, give me the courage to invite them onto the dance floor. Amen. — EP
