Everything is going wrong-as I write this there are fires in the west; in Montreal, there are seniors’ homes that need repairs that have not been done so the homes will be closed. These are only a couple of reasons that people need to leave their comfort zones. You can probably think of many more.
This is Canada. Do you think the confessions of these people could apply to us? Have you done any wrongs to anyone? We have refugees coming here; why do they need to come? Are we open to accepting them? How do we show our thankfulness? What does the Lord suggest? How is all this going to happen? What must we do?
How does this affect us today? What are our responsibilities? What will happen if we do not do our part? These are hard tasks, how do you think we will accomplish them? I look at how difficult it is to bring children to Sunday school, where will we get the help to teach our children to obey?
I think we will have to spend much time in prayer with many talks to God, and we will have to be very diligent in our obedience.
Dear Lord, please guide us with your light and give us power to obey your commands. Help us make useful plans to help this to happen. Amen. — GS
