Sunday July 24th, 2016 10th Sunday after Pentecost Luke 11:1-13
"If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" (verse 13)
He greeted her at the tomb, “Mary.” He was there before creation. In him all things come into being. He is Lord. He is coming again. Power and greatness, gentleness and mercy, saviour and friend come together in Jesus.
Caring God, help us to know that you are always with us, that you walk with us through our trials, and that you care for us more than we can ever imagine. Amen. — SD
