Monday January 4th, 2016 Isaiah 43:1-7
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you ? (verse 2)
There is a lot of pressure that I put on myself trying to be in control of all aspects of my family, my work and my emotions. When I start to falter and need help, I feel a sense of failure and weakness.
Loving God, we thank you that when life is at its wildest and most threatening, you are there to rescue and save us. Amen. — HF
