"Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food, or thirsty and gave you something to drink?" (verse 37)
Is there anything like the relief of a long, cool drink of water when one is thirsty? And yet, no matter how much we drink, we know we will be thirsty again soon.
O God of compassion, reveal yourself to us again in the face of "the least of these" who surround us. Amen. — HF
