Jesus Raises Lazarus – Eternity for Today

Sunday November 1st, 2015 All Saints Sunday John 11:32-44

Jesus said to her, "Did I not tell you that if you believed??" (verse 40)

And the quote continues “?you would see the glory of God?” And what glory Jesus shows that day in raising Lazarus from the dead!

Jesus is the begotten Son of God. And we are beloved children of God. We may not be able to raise people from the dead like Jesus, but we do have the power to revive dead relationships. Even our relationship with God, if it has become dead.

In raising Lazarus, Jesus demonstrates the power of God’s love. When we act on even a very small measure of God’s love within our heart, we have the ability to overcome difficult relationships with openness, grace, compassion and understanding.

Dear God, please expand your love in my heart to be able to approach any difficult relationship in my life with openness, grace, compassion, understanding, and of course, love. Amen. — BLR
