Tuesday March 31st, 2015 John 12: 20-36
"If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going." (verse 35)
Have you ever tried to navigate yourself in the pitch darkness? Trying to find your way through your own familiar home in blackness is difficult enough, but if you are in unfamiliar territory? Forget about it! You will end up stumbling around, bumping into things, and maybe even falling down. It can be pretty funny for an outsider to see, but is potentially dangerous for those who are fumbling around in the dark.
Lucky for us, we do not have to go through our lives stumbling in darkness. We have Jesus to light our way for us. He lights up our path, which makes navigating our way through life’s struggles and obstacles a whole lot easier. We are safe in the light of Jesus! How awesome!
