Small Miracles

Miracles. My five-year-old granddaughter is literally a “walking” miracle. When she was two she stopped walking. She had a tumour wrapped around her spine and it was growing upwards. They were able to remove about 75% .We were told that if she walked again it would take months and that she would need intense therapy. Well, worldwide prayer began the moment we found out, and continued throughout surgery and recovery. Three weeks after surgery, she grabbed the coffee table and said, “Wook at me!” and started walking around it. By her three-month MRI, the last bit of tumour was starting to shrink on its own. By the nine-month MRI, it was gone.

At one point I was asked if I was in denial of what was happening to her and my reply was no, I was not. I knew that God was in control. There was a deep feeling of peace. I was told that even atheists were praying for her.

Now, whenever someone sees my granddaughter, they may see, consider and understand what the hand of the Lord has done.

Lord, continue to amaze us with miracles of all shapes and sizes Amen. — MJ
