Monday January 12th, 2015 John 1:29-34
"This is he of whom I said, 'After me comes a man who ranks ahead of me because he was before me.'" (verse 30)
You know the old saying, “Actions speak louder than words.” Well, my mother was a loud speaking woman, BUT her actions spoke even louder. She always put others first and in doing so has passed that way of life onto me. No matter who walks into my life’s path, whether they be family, friend or stranger, I always try to put their wants and needs first. I believe that this way of thinking and acting not only comes from my mother but it comes from wanting others to feel Christ’s presence when I am in their presence. I want my words, my actions and the way I handle any adversity to show where and how Christ ranks in my life.
