Friday October 10th, 2014 Psalm 65
By awesome deeds you answer us with deliverance, O God of our salvation; you are the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas. (verse 5)
OK. Maybe I made more of it than I should, but it had me rejoicing and obviously still encourages me. We usually think of gentleness as a gift of our seniors, who are too worn out to do more. But all can share in this gift of the Spirit, if we are open to God’s love.
Gracious and loving God, we know how awesome you are. Fill us with the hope for our salvation. Thank you. Amen. — EEMS
