Wow! Many are called, but few are chosen? My friends, let me suggest that these words aren’t an invitiation to be the frozen chosen, that is, to be so petrified of doing the wrong thing that we do nothing, including celebrating daily our lives in Christ.
The appropriate wedding robe for us as followers of Christ is a smile and an inner happiness that bursts throughout the day. It is the demeanor of the person who reminds us that God is love. When we find such a person, we not only know we are in the right company, we go out to gather in all others, both the good and the bad, so they, too, can celebrate.
Lord, I'm ready for the party. Let your love usher joy and peace into my life. And I'll let others know that they're welcome too. All of them. Amen. — EB
