God’s House, Our House

I have a grand vision of what I will do for God.

World peace. Global justice. Clean water and fresh air. Freedom for everyone. Love for all.

But I can’t quite make it work. I can’t see all the pieces or understand all the perspectives. I keep messing up God’s house. Doing it for myself instead of for God.

But God will build for me. And for everyone. So we will truly have peace and justice, clean water and fresh air. We will finally all be free from ourselves with God’s love for all.

Thank you, God, for coming into the world and building for us so that we might build for others. Amen. — KDH
