Unsearchable greatness

There are no words that can fully capture who God is. God’s power, wisdom and love stretch far beyond what our minds can grasp. We can try to describe God—faithful, holy, mighty, good—but even our best words fall short of God’s fullness. As the psalmist declares, “his greatness is unsearchable.”
And yet, even in God’s greatness, God invites us to know and worship God, and to walk with God daily. Though we may not understand everything about God, we can experience divine presence in real and personal ways. We see God’s greatness in creation, in unfailing love toward us, in every answered prayer, and in the quiet strength given us—always, in every season.
When we pause to reflect on who God is and all God has done, praise naturally flows from our hearts. Our faith deepens, not because we understand everything about God, but because we trust in the One who holds all things together.
Let us lift our eyes, slow our hearts, and stand in awe. Great is the LORD—and worthy of all our praise.

Lord, thank you for revealing your love and power to us. Fill our hearts with awe and teach us to live in constant praise. Amen.
